Lunkenstein's Lair

My first exposure to the Universal Classic Monsters came when I initially saw 'Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein' (1948) in 1962. I was 7 years old and fascinated by the characters. I also really liked A&C. Not long after, I got to see the original monster films and really fell in love with them. I remember my dad telling me before Frankenstein (1931) was about to begin, "Now, I hope this won't scare you too much." I assured him I'd be fine. After all, I'd been loving dinosaur movies since I was 5. Well, I was more than fine, and wanted to see anything that featured monsters for the rest of my life.
